Gistvox is a community built on authentic voice sharing. These guidelines help keep our platform safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone.

Be Respectful

Treat others with kindness and respect. Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks, bullying, and harassment are never acceptable. Remember: there's a real person behind every voice.

No Hate Speech

Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality is prohibited.

No Harassment or Threats

Do not threaten, stalk, intimidate, or harass other users. This includes unwanted direct messages, repeated negative responses, and doxxing (sharing someone's personal information without consent).

Original Content

Share your own voice and ideas. Do not upload copyrighted music, recordings, or content that belongs to others without permission. Give credit where it's due.

No Spam or Manipulation

Do not create fake accounts, use bots, artificially inflate engagement metrics, or repeatedly post the same content. Quality over quantity.

Age-Appropriate Content

Gistvox is for users 17 and older. Content involving minors in inappropriate contexts is strictly prohibited. Explicit adult content should be clearly labeled.

No Misinformation

Do not intentionally spread false information that could cause harm, particularly regarding health, safety, elections, or emergencies.

Reporting

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please report it. Our moderation team reviews reports and takes appropriate action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension.

Enforcement

Violations may result in: content removal, temporary account suspension, permanent account ban, or referral to law enforcement for illegal activity. The severity of the response depends on the nature and frequency of the violation.

Sunday Recording Restriction

As part of our commitment to mental health and balanced usage, recording is disabled on Sundays (based on your timezone). This is a time to listen, reflect, and rest. Playback remains fully available.
