After the Beep explores how we communicate through technology—how we reach for each other, miss each other, and sometimes say things we couldn’t say out loud. “Hello… hello… are you there?” Leave a message as if it’s a voicemail. It can be two seconds,“call me back” or something longer. I might call back. I might respond with a message of my own. You never know who’s listening.
