A Two-Minute Thank You: The Gistvox Thanksgiving Challenge
Gratitude is a funny thing. It changes the person who gives it, the person who hears it, and sometimes the person who didn’t even know they needed it. So this Thanksgiving season, we’re inviting the entire Gistvox community to share a story of gratitude, in two minutes or less.
Starting today, you can enter the Gistvox Thanksgiving Challenge simply by recording a Gist that answers one prompt:
“What’s one moment, person, or experience from this year that you’re truly grateful for?”
Big or small. Profound or hilarious. A person, a pet, a surprise, a memory, even a mistake that turned out to be a blessing. If it shaped you, we want to hear it.
The Prize
One winner will receive a $500 gift card and have their story featured on the official Gistvox blog as our Thanksgiving Spotlight Story of 2025.
How to Enter
Open Gistvox.
Record your gratitude story (two minutes or less).
Publish it publicly on Gistvox with the hashtag #GistOfGratitude.
Share your Gist publicly on Facebook, Twitter (X), or LinkedIn using the same hashtag.
That’s it. One voice. One story. One moment that mattered.
What We’re Looking For
We’re not grading audio quality or dramatic flair. We’re listening for:
Authenticity
Heart
A story only you could tell
Gratitude has a way of reminding us we’re human, and reminding others they’re not alone.
Deadline
All entries must be posted and shared by 11:59 PM ET on November 27, 2025.
We’ll feature some of our favorite submissions here, and the winner will be announced on November 28.
So take a breath, think of your year, and share a moment that deserves to be remembered.
