Being the best and the most successful version of yourself means being more obsessed and talented than the rest and willing to go the extra step even if it doesn't pay off. A lot of the times if you're doing more than someone else and you feel hidden, like you don't feel like your work's being shown and stuff like that, you're actually producing more than you realize because you're getting validated learning through those metrics.
