Rescued From a Rescue Mission

I think one of the most interesting people I met was many years ago, probably 1975 or 6. I owned a business in San Diego and I agreed to speak at the rescue mission. And I went down to the rescue mission that night and as I was speaking I looked out over the crowd of drug users, alcoholics, homeless, and my gaze was fixed on a man with a long dark beard and he was looking back at me and as I spoke very much intent on what I was saying.
