If my body is a temple, should I expect to commune with God therein?

For my believers out there, I had this thought recently about our bodies being a temple, as we've heard a lot in Christianity. It talks about that in 1 Corinthians, and I wanted to share this thought. But before, I just wanted to give a little backstory here. Over the last year, I've been on this journey of being honest with God and praying to Him and confessing to Him in a way that I've never done before, in a way that redefines honesty and prayer for me.
