As a young child, I grew up wanting to be an artist. I spent a lot of time painting, sketching, but thankfully I learned pretty early on that what comprised my perception of what art actually was, I didn't actually have any natural talent for it. So I moved on from that and I became interested in books, words, ideas, narrative, character development.
