now this is the start of a new relationship because for the first time on the internet I don't see anything but I hear I hear you I hear me and this is gonna be interesting and now that we're here in the world of sound I want to share something with you that my father shared with me a long time ago now yeah he introduced me to the old radio shows the old shadow that golden age of radio where you heard everything there was a movie it was a 1950s science fiction movie called the thing it's a black-and-white classic and one day he took me aside and he said we're gonna listen to this movie without watching it just listen to the dialogue and we had the TV turned around and all we did was listen as if though we were listening to a radio show and even by doing it as so you still captured the story through the dialogue and I would encourage any one of you out there to try it and listen to that movie in its entirety and don't watch it just listen
